Welcome
Dear fellow Clearinghouse member:
On behalf of the Clearinghouse Executive Committee I have the pleasure to invite you to attend our 37th version of our annual meeting, uninterruptedly held since its foundation in 1974. As director of ECLAMC I also invite you to visit our South American program headquarters, and as your friend Eduardo I would very much like to host you at my home town, the city of Buenos Aires.
This year the Clearinghouse and ECLAMC South American program will merge their usual scientific sessions within the academic environment of CEMIC University, and the National Academy of Medicine, as a contribution to put the Clearinghouse at the showcase, as well as to let us descend from our ivory tower down to the real world we work for.
This webpage opens the activities of this 37th.annual meeting, which details will be exposed here for your consideration during the next months. Please, visit it regularly, and feed us back with ideas and criticisms.
We also wish to take you for a stroll throughout Buenos Aires streets, share a cup of coffee with you in our caffés, search for the always wandering ghosts of its poets, treat you with a barbecue at our houses, and let you enjoy what the city have in mid spring, opera, symphonic music, plastic arts, soccer, rugby, polo, and the blossom trees.
We will meet from October 29th to November 2nd 2010, and you are also welcomed to stay for the clinical dysmorphology session on November 3rd in which intriguing cases of multiple malformed infants without a certain syndromic diagnosis are discussed, which is a classical at ECLAMC meetings.
Best regards.
Eduardo Castilla
